Multiple Charges Laid After Weapons Complaint In Membertou

A Membertou man is facing a long list of charges after Regional Police got called to a report of someone with a gun in Membertou early yesterday morning.

44 year-old Shaun Kevin Kiley is facing 12 firearms charges as well as four breaches of probation.

Police say a homeowner on Veterans Avenue called to tell them there was someone in their house with a gun.

They say the man was arrested after refusing to come out of the house and a number of guns were found inside.

Police say no threats were made and no one was hurt.
