First COVID-19 Death In Nova Scotia

The province’s first COVID-19 death is a woman in her 70’s with underlying medical conditions who lived in a Sydney area nursing home.

She died yesterday at the Regional Hospital in Sydney.

The province will provide an update on the latest COVID-19 case numbers later today.

Yesterday, it reported 31 more cases of COVID-19 to bring the total in Nova Scotia to 293.
