Robert Walsh Promoted To Acting Police Chief

Deputy Regional Police chief Robert Walsh has been promoted to acting chief.

Council approved the change at last night’s meeting.

It’s not known how long Walsh will serve as acting chief with Chief Peter McIsaac off on leave for the past several months.

Mayor Cecil Clarke says it’s important to have someone in that leadership role while McIsaac is on leave.
