Man Arrested For Shoplifting At Mark’s Work Wearhouse

A 27-year-old Balls Creek man is facing a number of charges after Regional Police say he was caught shoplifting in Mark’s Work Wearhouse at the Mayflower Mall.

Police say they got called to the store at around 6:00, yesterday evening.

They say the shoplifter ran into trails in woods behind the mall but was quickly caught by officers.

Police say they found stolen goods and drugs on the man.

He faces charges including Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of Clonazapam, as well as resisting arrest and 5 Breaches of conditions.

His name has not yet been released.
