Ferry Crossings Postponed Until Tomorrow

Marine Atlantic has postponed tonight’s crossings from North Sydney and Port aux Basques because of weather conditions.

The Crown Corporation says the ferries will leave tomorrow morning, weather permitting.

There’s a gale warning in effect for the Cabot Strait.

Winds are forecast to build to 74 km/hr this evening before going down to 46 near noon tomorrow.
