Police Looking For Shooter After Sydney Mines Shootings

There’s no word if Regional Police have found the person accused of shooting three people in Sydney Mines, yesterday morning.

A 28 year-old man and a 41 year-old man were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds after Police say they got called to a home on Barrington Street at 6:00.

Police say a short while later they got called to another apartment at the same address where officers found a 21-year-old woman with gunshot wounds.

Police say all three suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

They say the three have identified the shooter.

The shootings led to safety restrictions at the Emergency Departments at the Regional and Glace Bay Hospitals but those restrictions have since been lifted.
