Sunflower Crisp Salad Kits Recalled

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says a brand of salad kit is being recalled because of possible E. coli contamination.

Sunflower Crisp Chopped Kit in 315 gram sizes is affected.

The recall applies to all packages with Best Before dates up to and including December 7th and a lot code beginning with “Z.”

The Agency says the recall was triggered by its investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak.

People who have the salad kits should either throw them out or bring them back to the store.
