Sexual Assault Case Due Back In Court Tomorrow

A 67 year-old Eskasoni man made a brief appearance in Sydney court today on a host of sex charges.

A bail hearing for Joel Nathan Denny was adjourned and he’s now on remand ahead of a bail hearing tomorrow.

Denny was arrested on Saturday on charges including nine counts each of Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Assault and three counts each of Sexual Interference and Invitation to Sexual Touching.

The charges date to between 2011 and this year.

RCMP say Denny committed the offences against three people.

They’re also asking any other potential victims to come forward and contact police or Crime Stoppers.
