All Sharks Tagged Off Cape Breton Have Pinged In

U-S researchers say all four great white sharks they tagged off Cape Breton have sent signals from their transmitters or have pinged in.

The sharks were all tagged last month in waters around Hay Island, near Main-a-Dieu.

Ocearch says the shark it named Murdock was pinged on September 20th near Port Morien.

The female shark called Unama’ki was as far south as Cape Cod, Massachusetts on Monday.

Also on Monday, the male great white Sydney was pinged in waters near Sheet Harbour on the province’s eastern shore.

And the female Caper sent a signal last night from waters well of the province’s southeast coast.
