Federal Liberals Leading In NS

A new poll finds the Federal Liberals have a double-digit lead in public support in Nova Scotia.

The Trudeau Liberals got 44% support in the latest MQO poll, with little change from three months ago.

The Conservatives went down 4 points to 31%.

There was little change in support for the other main parties, with the NDP at 13%, the Greens at 9, and the Peoples’ Party at 1%.

MQO says the Liberals are leading in the Halifax area but are trailing the Conservatives elsewhere on the mainland.

The poll surveyed 400 people between August 20th and 27th, and is considered accurate within 4.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
