NS Grits, Tories Tied In New Poll

A new poll finds the province’s governing Liberals are tied with the opposition Progressive Conservatives.

The latest quarterly poll from MQO research puts the Grits at 35%– up 5% percent from the last quarter.

The Tories are at 35% after going down three percentage points.

The NDP stayed put at 20%, while the Greens went down 4 points to 8%.

The poll surveyed 400 people between August 20th and 27th and is considered accurate within 4.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
