Screaming Eagles No More

The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles unveiled an image change, this morning.

First of all, the team is dropping “Screaming” from its name and will now be known as the Cape Breton Eagles.

The team also has a new logo, featuring an eagle’s head in profile with the team’s name at the top.

Glace Bay native Irwin Simon became the team’s majority owner in November.

At the time, the team said the new ownership would usher in revitalization for the operation.

The Eagles open their training camp at Centre 200 tomorrow.
