Bail Hearing For Man Charged After North Sydney Stabbing

A 61-year-old man charged after another man was stabbed in North Sydney on Wednesday night is due back in court today for a bail hearing.

Police say they got called to a William Street apartment at around 9:00.

They say a 65-year-old man was taken to the Regional Hospital in Sydney for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening wounds.

Thomas Joseph Chisholm faces counts of Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and 3 Breaches of conditions.

Police say Chisholm knows the man he’s accused of attacking.
