Two firefighters were injured fighting a fire at Port Hawkesbury Paper, last night.
They were first taken to hospital in Antigonish and then transferred to Halifax with what’s believed to be carbon dioxide exposure.
There’s no more information on the fire.
Five volunteer fire departments were called to the blaze inside a chip silo.
The Antigonish Fire Department sent a ladder truck and firefighters 60 kilometers to fight the blaze.
About 330 people work at the Point Tupper operation.
