It’s Walbrzych Day In The Regional Municipality

It’s Wałbrzych Day in the Regional Municipality.

Walbrzych is the Polish City that’s a sister city to the municipality.

A delegation from the city is visiting Cape Breton.

There’s going to be a flag raising to mark the day at City Hall in Sydney at 12:10 this afternoon.

That will be followed by a ceremonial session of Council at 1:15 where a proclamation will be read and gifts exchanged.

The delegation will then leave for a trip to Louisbourg.
