St. Alphonsus Church Vandalized With Graffiti

The group working to save St. Alphonsus Church in Victoria Mines says the building has been vandalized with graffiti.

Photos posted on Facebook show racist words and symbols spray-painted on the building’s exterior.

There’s no word if police have been called.

The Stone Church Restoration Society is working to restore the building and turn it into a tourist destination and wedding chapel.

It officially took ownership of the building, last month.
