Six Forced From Their Homes After Glace Bay Fire

The Red Cross says at least six people have been forced from their homes after an overnight fire in Glace Bay.

The organization says the blaze at 24 Sterling Road was reported at around midnight.

The one-level house has three apartments.

Four adults and two children from two of the apartments have been given emergency lodging and food, as well as winter clothing and other essentials.

There’s no word if anyone was living in the third apartment.
