Chilies In Food Kits Recalled

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says red chilies that come with some meal kits sold in the province have been recalled because of possible salmonella contamination.

Hello Fresh and Chef’s Plate meal kits are affected.

They come in a number of different sizes and have a variety of date stamps.

The federal agency says the red chilies should either be thrown out or sent back to the company, Hello Fresh Canada.

It says there are no reports of anyone getting sick after eating the ingredient.
