New Year’s Eve Celebrations At Centre 200, Today

The Regional Municipality is hosting a New Year’s Eve party at Centre 200, today.

The free event begins with a block party at 1:00 this afternoon and features musical entertainment, a rock wall, laser tag and a bouncy castle.

Admission to this evening’s Cape Breton Highlanders basketball game with Halifax is free.

However, people have to pick up their tickets in person at the Centre 200 box office that’s now open.

The festivities will wrap up with fireworks at Open Hearth Park at 9:00, tonight.

Meanwhile, the last Transit Cape Breton bus runs will leave Sydney at 5:00, this evening.

No buses will run tomorrow but the service will return to its regular schedule on Wednesday.
