Regional Municipality Issues Tender For Viability Study

The Regional Municipality has issued a tender for a viability study.

The municipality says the goal of the study is to provide context to ongoing discussions on the state of its fiscal capacity as well as its fiscal potential.

The municipality is also looking for what it calls a value-for-money audit of its operations and a revenue and cost comparison to comparable municipalities.

The study will also look at the municipality’s tax structure.

The deadline for submissions is November 29th.
