Sentencing Hearing in Slaunwhite Manslaughter Due To Take Place Today

A sentencing hearing is due to take place today for the Glace Bay man who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of Harold Buster Slaunwhite.

51 year-old Raymond Glen Farrow was originally charged with first degree murder in the death of 82 year-old Slaunewhite in his Dominion home in September of 2006.

Farrow entered a guilty plea to the lesser charge when he appeared in Sydney Supreme Court in June.

Police are not saying how Slaunwhite died.

Farrow has been in custody since late 2016 and had been scheduled to go to trial in October.
