Police Looking Into North Sydney Convenience Store Robbery

Regional Police are investigating an overnight robbery at a convenience store in North Sydney, and the person responsible is still at large.

Police say they got a call to the Irving Circle K on Commercial Street at about 2:30 this morning.

The clerk tells police a man came into the store with a knife, demanded money and then ran out onto Peppett Street.

The clerk handed over a small amount of money and wasn’t injured.

The robber is described as having very short dark hair and a moustache.

Police say he was wearing grey jogging pants and a black/grey striped hooded shirt with a piece of green material around his head and neck.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
