Southwest Margaree Couple Both Win Atlantic Book Awards

A Southwest Margaree couple who were competing against each other for an Atlantic Book Award each took home awards at last night’s ceremony in Halifax.

Oisin Curran won the Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Award for his book Blood Fable.

His wife Sarah Faber was also nominated for the award that comes with a prize of 25-thousand dollars.

However, Faber won the Margaret and John Savage First Book Award for her novel, All is Beauty Now.

A total of 13 awards were handed out, last night.
