Today is the last day people can apply for a free $25 gift card being offered by Loblaw.
The grocery giant says the card is compensation for what it says is its part in a bread price-fixing scandal.
It still faces a number of possible class action lawsuits over the scandal.
It could also face repercussions from Canada’s privacy commissioner on how it handled the gift card program.
The commissioner is investigating the retailer for asking some customers to send a copy of their ID, such as a driver’s licence, before getting a gift card.
