Heavy Garbage Collection Is Underway

Heavy garbage collection is underway today in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and Victoria County.

People in both municipalities were asked to have their heavy trash by the side of the road by early this morning.

Old furniture, appliances and hot water tanks will be collected in both the Regional Municipality and Victoria County.

However, tires, paint and construction debris will not.

Trucks collecting heavy garbage will make only one visit to each area.
