Extradition Hearing Continuing Today In Britain For River Ryan Man

An extradition hearing for a River Ryan man accused of robbing a bank in Singapore is due to continue today in Britain.

28 year-old David James Roach has been in custody in the U-K since he arrived on a flight to London, last month.

He was being deported from Thailand to Canada at the time and was arrested in London at the request of Singapore officials.

Roach is accused of stealing about $30,000 Canadian from a Singapore bank in July of 2016.

He was later arrested in Thailand for crimes linked to the robbery including violating money laundering and customs laws.

He was deported from Thailand last month after serving his sentence there.
