Preliminary Hearing Today For Woman Charged With Second Degree Murder

A preliminary hearing is due to begin today for a woman facing a charge of second-degree murder in the death of her former partner in Sydney Mines

 35 year-old Kimberly Ann O’Dea also faces counts of criminal negligence causing death and dangerous driving causing death in the case.
She was charged after 28 year-old Dana Marie Jessome from Sydney Mines was killed after being hit by a vehicle in July.
Police say O’Dea was driving the vehicle.
O’Dea has been released on conditions, including that she live in Grand Falls-Windsor in Newfoundland and Labrador.
