Legal Cannabis To Be Sold At Only One Cape Breton Location

The province says cannabis will be sold at nine Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation stores across the province, starting in July.

However, marijuana will only be available at one Cape Breton location, the liquor store in Sydney River.

The Liquor Corporation will reopen the former store on Clyde Street in Halifax to exclusively sell cannabis.

The NSLC will also sell cannabis online with more with more details to be made available at a future date.

People will also be able to grow up to four marijuana plants per household.

Ottawa plans to legalize the recreational use of cannabis by the summer.
