A 28 year-old man is due back in court later this month after being arrested in relation to an Armed Robbery in Sydney last night.

Stephen Douglas Hollohan is facing a charge of armed robbery, as well as two breaches.

Police say they got the call to Woodford’s Convenience Store on Dorchester Street at 8:30.

They add they were told a man came into the store with a knife and demanded cash from the clerk before running out toward George Street.

Police say the man was arrested when officers found him walking in the area a short time later.

No injuries were reported.

Hollohan remains on remand and is due back in court for a plea hearing on January 30th.
