The provincial Department of Transportation says the Englishtown ferry service is suspended this morning because of weather conditions.

Meanwhile, weather conditions continue to affect the Marine Atlantic Ferry service.

The Crown Corporation says today’s crossings from North Sydney and Port aux Basques have been postponed until tomorrow.

However, it says it expects all of tomorrow’s departures will also be affected by the weather.

There are now gale and freezing spray warnings in effect for the Cabot Strait with seas of 3 to 5 metres, today.
