REMEMBRANCE DAY EVENTS

There are a host of Remembrance Day events in the CBRM today.

The occasion will be observed at Centre 200 with the march beginning at 9am and the officials ceremonies featuring guest speaker Romero Dallaire at 10:40.

In Glace Bay, there’s a march to the Savoy from the Convergys parking lot at 10 with a service beginning at 10:30.

Meanwhile in New Waterford Remembrance Day ceremonies take place at Breton Education Centre beginning at 10:30.

And a laying of wreaths at the North Sydney cenotaph will follow a service at St Joseph Roman Catholic Church at 11.
