CB Winners at NS Music Awards

Cape Breton group Port Cities took home five awards at the Nova Scotia Music Awards, yesterday.

The trio featuring Dylan Guthro, Breagh MacKinnon and Carleton Stone won recording, group recording and pop recording of the year.

They also picked up entertainer of the year and digital artist of the year honours.

Other Cape Breton winners were Keith Mullins for children’s artist, Maxim Cormier for Acadian/Francophone artist and Mike (Sheppy) Shepherd for sound engineer.

Bobby grew up in Whycocomagh before moving to Halifax to attend university where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Journalism degree.
