Matthew Lever organized the meeting and says everyone is invited.
Lever also says the meeting is for Glace Bay and surrounding communities.
In September Regional Municipality mayor Cecil Clarke issued a tender for technical advice for renovations at the Bayplex.
The rink is shutdown for up to two years because of structural and mold concerns.
Clarke also says all three levels of government will pay for the renovation project at the Bayplex.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00.
