Three Charged Following Drug Raid

Three people appeared in court today after a raid police say netted thousands of dollars’ worth of drugs earlier this week.

Police say the raid took place at a home on View Street on Wednesday, leading to a seizure of an estimated $40,000 worth of cocaine, as well as marijuana, prescription pills and cash.

Police have brought trafficking charges against 22 year-old Allan Gregory Capson and 20 year-old Erika Capson, both from North Sydney, as well as 24 year-old Christian Master Tracz, from Lower Sackville.

The three are also facing a charge of possession of an unauthorized weapon, and Allan Capson is also charged with assaulting a police officer, threatening a police officer, and four breaches.

Allan Capson and Tracz are still in custody while they await bail hearings on Monday.

Erika Capson has been released and is due back in court for arraignment on November 22nd.
