Nova Scotia Power Warning Customers About Text Message Scam

Nova Scotia Power is warning customers about a text message scam that’s making the rounds.

The utility says the message tells people they’re getting a refund from NSP.

It then directs them to click on a link to access the funds.

NSP says people should not click on the link.

It also says the text messages are not from Nova Scotia Power because it doesn’t communicate with customers about bill payments or credits by text message.
