Former MLA Samson Has A New Job

Former provincial cabinet minister and Cape Breton Richmond MLA Michel Samson has a new job.

Samson has joined the Halifax office of the law firm Cox & Palmer.

His focus there will be on matters relating to energy, trade, fisheries and aboriginal relations.

Samson was defeated in the May provincial election by new-comer Alana Paon who represents Cape Breton-Richmond as a Progressive-Conservative.

Samson served as an MLA for 19 years.

Before he was elected to the Legislature he practiced law in Port Hawkesbury.
