More Roadwork Delays in Sydney, Today

Roadwork on Townsend Street in Sydney is going to lead to detours, starting at 7:00 this morning.

The Regional Municipality says east bound traffic on Townsend will be detoured through MacKenzie Street.

Westbound traffic will be detoured at High Street.

Drivers are being told to expect delays and to take other routes if possible.

Meanwhile, King’s Road in Sydney is now down to one lane both ways between Weidner Drive and Byng Avenue.

Repaving and traffic light upgrades are taking place on that section until July 31.
