Pair Arrested for Possession of Stolen Property

Regional Police say a 22-year-old Sydney man and a 19 year-old Albert Bridge woman are facing charges for being in possession of stolen property, after a search of a home in Albert Bridge yesterday evening.

Police add the woman lives in the Hill’s Road home.

The pair has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

The woman has been released on a Promise to Appear in Court at a later date, while the man was held in custody overnight to appear in Court today.

He’s also charged with 10 Breaches of previous Court ordered conditions.

Police say the charges come as the result of increased Regional Police presence and enforcement in response to neighbourhood complaints in the Victoria Road area of Whitney Pier.
