A search his due to continue today on the Mira River for 56-year-old Murray Francis Reid.

The Albert Bridge man has been missing for more than a week when he fell out off his boat on June 5th.

Only water teams from the Albert Bridge and Glace Bay volunteer fire departments took part in the search, yesterday.

A Regional Police dive team took a break from the search yesterday for equipment maintenance but police say they could rejoin the search, today.

Ground search and rescue teams were also not searching yesterday after an estimated 60 searchers combed the shores of the Mira River up until Sunday.

Regional Police also say advanced equipment from Halifax could be used in the search again if it becomes available.
