New Poll Puts Liberals and P-C’s in Close Race

A new poll shows a tightening race between the Liberals and the Progressive Conservatives in the provincial election.

The Forum Research survey puts the Grits in the lead with 37 per cent, while the Tories sit at 35 per cent among deciding and leaning voters.

The NDP are supported by 25 per cent of those surveyed while the Green Party got 4 percent.

1,057 people in the province were surveyed randomly by phone for the poll.

It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
