by Regional Police are investigating what’s being called a suspicious death at a home in Gardiner Mines today.
They say a 911 call was made from a home on O’Brien Street at around the noon hour, and they add a woman was found dead in the home when officers arrived on scene.
They go on to say a man inside the home was arrested and remains in custody.
Police say the woman’s name will not be released until her family is notified.
They add they believe the woman and man are known to one another.
