Campbell Named Hockey Ambassador

Mike Campbell from New Victoria has been honoured for his dedication to the game of hockey.

The 91-year-old still plays recreational hockey three times a week.

Yesterday, he was presented with Hockey Canada’s Ambassador Award for those who make a mark on hockey in their community.

The presentation included a Team Canada jersey with the word Ambassador on the back.

Meanwhile, Campbell says he keeps in shape for hockey in the off-season by volunteering to mow three graveyards with a push lawn mower.
