by The Atlantic Lottery Corporation is warning people about an e-mail scam.
It says the scam involves an e-mail telling people their e-mail address was drawn in a promotion and has resulted in a large prize in US funds.
The e-mail also urges people to contact an Atlantic Lottery prize claim agent and provide personal details.
The Lottery Corporation says anyone who gets these e-mails should not respond to them but instead call the RCMP.
