Two Men Arrested in New Waterford

Regional Police and RCMP arrested two men at an apartment on Wilson Avenue in New Waterford last night.

A 59-year-old man and a 27-year-old man have been charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and unsafe storage of a firearm.

The 27-year-old is also charged with breaching a probation order.

Regional Police also say they took a shotgun from the apartment.

The two men have been released on strict conditions.

Both men are scheduled to appear in court in May.
