Council Looking at Possible Livestock Bylaw

Regional Council has asked staff to prepare an issue paper on keeping livestock animals in urban areas.

The move comes after Councillor Kendra Coombes put forward a motion for a possible bylaw on the matter.

Coombes says she’s had complaints about people who keep chickens in New Waterford.

The issue paper on the possible livestock bylaw is due to be ready by the spring.
