Chronicle-Herald Talks To Resume Next Week

Contract talks between the union for striking newsroom workers and the Chronicle-Herald are due to resume next week.

The workers, including two in Sydney, have been on the picket line since January 23rd of last year.

The union says it’s withdrawn an unfair labour complaint against the Herald, paving the way for talks to resume.

The Halifax-based newspaper has also withdrawn a complaint against the union that accused it of disclosure of confidential information.

Negotiations are due to resume on Tuesday.
