Family to Search for Missing Man

The family of a Cape Breton man missing for more than two years is renewing their search today.

Kenny MacNeil’s family told CBC they will be going into the woods near his Upper Leitches Creek home looking for any signs of him.

The 50-year-old MacNeil went missing in August 2014.

Cape Breton search and rescue teams found no trace of MacNeil in 2014 and the family believes he is dead.

Another search a year later found no evidence.

Regional Police say MacNeil’s disappearance remains an active missing person’s case.

The family is offering the public a reward for any information about MacNeil’s whereabouts.
