Armed Robbery Accused Due in Court

A North Sydney woman charged after an armed robbery in a Sydney parking lot is due back in court today to enter pleas.
36 year-old Brandy Leeann Williams faces counts of armed robbery, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and assault.
Williams was arrested after a woman approached another woman in a parking lot off Dorchester Street late last month and demanded money.
Witnesses say the woman claimed to be armed with a used hypodermic needle and threatened to stab the other woman if money was not turned over.
They add the woman gave in to the demand and was hit on the hand with tweezers the robber was carrying.
Williams was arrested a short time after the robbery.

She’s been released from custody to await today’s court appearance.
