Advance Voting Starts, Today

Advance voting begins today for municipal and school board elections in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

The voting by phone or online starts at 8:00 this morning and runs 24 hours a day until 7:00 at night next Wednesday.

CBRM returning officer Deborah Campbell says all eligible voters should have gotten a letter by now.

Campbell adds anyone who didn’t get a letter with voting information can call her office.

For those who want to vote by paper ballot, Election Day is Saturday, October 15th.

The voter letters also contain information on polling stations for Election Day.
