Four Hospitalized In Sydney MVA

Regional Police say several people have been sent to hospital as a result of a three-vehicle accident in Sydney.

They add officers responded to the accident scene at the corner of Welton and Spruce Streets at about 1:05 this afternoon.

Police go on to say there was a driver and a passenger in two of the vehicles and all four were sent to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

They add the third vehicle was a dump truck and the driver was not seriously injured.

Police are advising drivers to take alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion in the area near the accident scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
